In “The Long Dark” there are lots of vehicles! We can climb in to search them but impossible to use them to move around and it’s one of the only fairly frustrating element of “The Long Dark” and well in “Dayz” we don’t have that! We have the cars! However, they are generally fragile and in poor condition.

The name of the MOD to add is “Trader” => Sales spaces are neutral places if you come across another player in these places. Farming lovers will find their way there and be able to access their dream items if they cannot find them. So there too it is not at all in “The Long Dark” but most of the “DayZ” servers use a MOD which adds money to loot in the world and stores selling and buying objects.
Merchants of objects and exchange between players: So here too, a workshop MOD is necessary to add to your “DayZ”: “ No Sprinting Zombies” => In the original version of “DayZ” the zombies are able to beat Usain Bolt on the run! As I still prefer the atmosphere of “The Walking Dead” on this server the zombies wander more realistically and slowly! It is much better to take your time and give them sniper headshots! But there are no zombies in “The Long Dark”? Yes ! and if necessary to push the idea further it may be possible to do the same on this server! No zombies but to think about. But the server goes further to take advantage of the advantages of “DayZ” and its own universe.
With these 3 modifications above we are already very close to the experience found with “The Long Dark”. It is still beautiful snow! Without zombies! The name of the MOD is: “ Winter_Chernarus” available therefore at this URL => It is still very successful and the developer of this MOD has done a very good job and I have not yet encountered a major bug for this MOD.

In “The Long Dark” wolves can pick you up and scare you when you haven’t seen them arrive. The loneliness of The long dark on a DayZ server? On the “DayZ” server, well it will be the same! Even with the 60 places open I have a big doubt on the number of total visitors who will come to play on it! But the idea is not at all to have a crowded server that will leave in pure “PUBG” and with the 220 + Km² of the card from what I read on the net it will be difficult to cross other things like zombies and game.
